Monday, September 20th, 2010: The top votegetter in this year's Appalachian League Outstanding Hitter Award balloting was Javier Rodriguez, the outstanding Brooklyn right fielder. He finished the season with a .306 average and a .439 on-base percentage. Javier Rodriguez also registered 72 hits, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 17 home runs, 70 RBIs and 62 runs scored. |
 | Pimentel Takes APP Outstanding Pitcher Award
Sunday, September 19th, 2010: Julio Cesar Pimentel was overpowering this season for the Idaho Falls Chukars and earned the 2010 Appalachian League Outstanding Pitcher Award for his efforts.
In a standout year he went 7-2 in 11 starts with 82 strikeouts in 64 innings and a 3.09 ERA. |
