NYP Honors 2010 Glove Wizard Award Winners
Sunday, October 3rd, 2010: What does it take to win a Glove Wizard Award? It's a combination of good hands, knowing how to play the hitters, all-out hustle and a willingness to sacrifice your body to make a play. Good speed and a good arm never hurt, either, but not always required. This year's all-defense team in the New York-Penn League consists of:

Pitcher: Cory Hamilton (Connecticut Tigers)
Catcher: Devin Ivany (Hagerstown Suns)
First Baseman: Bert Haggers (Mahoning Valley Scrappers)
Second Baseman: Adam Buschini (Williamsport Crosscutters)
Third Baseman: Rayner Contreras (Tri-City Valley Cats)
Shortstop: Freddy Galvis (Lakewood Blue Claws)
Left Fielder: Kevin Rucker (Lake County Captains)
Center Fielder: Jiwan James (Lakewood Blue Claws)
Right Fielder: Chase Greene (Savannah Sand Gnats)
