Tuesday, October 5th, 2010: Padres catcher Dusty Ryan was at the top of the heap in the Pacific Conference this season and today he nabbed the Outstanding Hitter Award.
In 2010 he rang up 118 hits, 19 doubles, no triples, 32 home runs, 100 RBIs and 95 runs scored. All those numbers helped him to build his .273 batting average and .395 on-base percentage. |
 | Ka'aihue Heads AC Best Batter List
Tuesday, October 5th, 2010: Today Kansas City's Kila Ka'aihue was named the American Conference Outstanding Hitter Award winner for 2010. He pounded AC hurlers hard all season long, collecting 141 hits in 481 at-bats.
With a .293 batting average, 20 doubles, no triples, 43 home runs, 104 RBIs and 104 runs scored, he was the top votegetter. |
 | Arizona Stopper Takes Outstanding Pitcher Award
Monday, October 4th, 2010: 24-year-old Bryan Augenstein of the Arizona Diamondbacks put together a good year in 2010 for such a young player. Augenstein was named today as the winner of the Pacific Conference Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Augenstein crafted an impressive 14-7 record and a 3.69 ERA. In 187.2 innings he allowed 177 hits, struck out 139, and walked 43. |
