Cardinals fan since I could hold a fishing pole steady. Accidental blogger. Opinionated. I could care less about what you think of me. Constantly confounded, bemused, and confuzzled (ie I'm a pc and a mac). I'm an IT infrastructure analyst with a penchant for breaking tech toys. I ate a sabermetric primer for breakfast. I love playing "All-powerful GM of MLB". The 2010 Cardinals represented a good, practical definition "cognitive dissonance". The 2011 version got by on duct tape and a prayer, and I'm fine with that. They just need new tape for #12 in 12.

It certainly isn’t the Mets or the Phillies. Braves and Marlins have nice fans, at least the ones that show up to support their team, which isn’t much. I had to go with the Nationals, by process of elimination.
Thanks for voting. I’m not going to announce my vote quite yet, but I will say that I’ve found extreme nutcases in all fan bases. I’m trying not to let that influence me too much.
EASILY the Braves. I don’t see how there’s any competition from the other teams. Washington fans seem nice (and I kinda like Washington, they have some players I enjoy watching), but the team really hasn’t been around long enough to develop a passionate fan base with traditions quite yet, I don’t think.
Phillie fans are, well, Philadelphia fans. Ya, they are passionate, but they are also rude, mean, and a whole lot more spiteful than the average baseball fan.
Mets? The Dodgers should never have moved.
Fans from Miami in general, no matter the sport, do not really impress me.
Braves fans are passionate, show up to support their team, have a long line of baseball heroes and traditions, and I think are classy as a whole.
How do we vote?
I’d probably have to go with the Braves fans. It’s amazing how often I see the tomahawk chop at games outside of Atlanta.
I went to an Astros game earlier this year and it seemed like half the stadium was doing the Tomahawk Chop.
Kinda Embarassing.
And I mean Embarassing for the Astros fans for letting the Braves fans take over.

I’m not a fan of the Chop, but I appreciate the enthusiasm. The Houston experience isn’t surprising given the state of things there. I fully expect that to change in a few years. It would certainly help MLB to have more support from one of the biggest cities in the country.

– Philly fans seem to be mostly assholes (that I’ve met, anyway)
– Mets fans are long-suffering, to be sure, but there’s gotta be an element of hopefulness in there.
– Washington fans? Too new, too few.
– Marlins fans? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! As if.
Atlanta has GREAT history, legendary alumni, and a legitimate chance to compete most seasons. The fans are passionate and generally amicable, and they don’t seem to jump ship when things go wrong. So, yeah, the only logical choice.
