Name Lou’s Book, Win a Coveroo

by on July 21, 2010 · 7 comments

Cubs manager Lou Piniella (also formerly manager of the Yankees, Reds, Mariners, and Rays) has decided to call it quits at the end of the 2010 season.

Here’s your chance to name Lou’s eventual auto-biography.

The fine folks at Coveroo ( have given us the opportunity to award one of their MLB licensed phone covers to a contest winner and we intend to do just that.

Enter your proposed title for Lou’s book in the comments below or on Twitter using the hashtag #lousbook through this weekend’s series with the Cubs – we will run a poll on Monday to allow the faithful PH8 readers (all three of you) the chance to vote on the best proposed book name.  Winner gets the free, MLB licensed, branded cover from Coveroo.

Writing about the Cardinals and other loosely associated topics since 2008, I've grown tired of the April run-out only to disappoint Cardinal fans everywhere by mid-May. I do not believe in surrendering free outs.

Wow — so many ways to go with this…

Going with my gut, I say it should be simple.
