PH8 Fantasy Baseball (Week 2)

Late night Monday game, late night Monday post. That’s my story anyway folks…

It only took two weeks for the fighting words to start, but the ESPN League is already starting to get interesting. A couple of tiebreakers will do that, as both divisions sport ties at the top.

PH8 Week 2

Due to hangover from this weekend, I did not get the chance to do as much research so this week will be a little different. Instead of a three up, three down format that I prefer to do it will be a look back at two from last week and two for the week ahead. Hope you all enjoy the late games and Go Cards!

Jose Reyes (PH8): a thorn in the side for St. Louis fans everywhere, his 0-7 Saturday showing didn’t help as Nick fell to 0-2.

Chris Carpenter (SARG): Carp turned a corner too, but his great showing wasn’t enough to keep Team Sarge from being winless.

Edgar Renteria (ROBE): a .310 OPS will never help in breaking a tie, and Renteria needs a big bounce-back week.

Wandy Rodriguez (SHOP): not looking anything like he did last year, Houston (and Daniel) need their Co-Ace to rebound.

Loyal to a fault, I will never give up on the Cardinals. As a baseball fan, it is at times frustrating to watch the Birds on the Bat so my girls give me space! I still proudly sport my 2006 NL Champs cap, but I am not too proud to say I cried over in Iraq when St. Louis won it all. Go Cards!
