He’ll be fine. I think the situation could’ve been handled much better by player, manager, fans, catcher, everyone.

Yesterday was a bad day for baseball. I mean, look at what some of the best pitchers in the game were out there doing. I’m going with the argument that the planets were out of alignment and it wasn’t really Motte’s fault.

Actually, it could have been my fault, because I may have jinxed it. Then again, my uncle (who is known to be bad luck) went to the game, so it could be his fault.

I’m just not ready to blame Jason (ooh, what’s in a name?) and certainly not ready to hear “fans” booing him. (Too many bad memories.)

It’s just one game.
Tomorrow’s another day.
You can’t win ‘em all.
