I think it seems like a logical move if the Cardinals hope to get Skipper ABs in 2009, but I don't know that it's super-realistic. Guess we'll find out in about 30 days or so. Wonder if that means he's destined for the super utility role? Seems like a pretty tough conversion unless shoe has previous infield experience at some level. I might even go so far as to include the whole draft class. Early returns/reports on guys like Nico Vasquez and Lance Lynn are positive as well.
