At least they’re not the Mets.
…or the Rams.
…or Scott Linehan.
…or Lane Kiffin.
Er, you get the point.
Congrats Redbirds, for finishing this season on a high note. A couple of breaks and a few less injuries and we’d still be looking forward to home-team baseball.

Poor Mets. It’s bad when your former arch rival loses out to your new arch rival wannabe.
At this point, I’m rooting for whomever the Brewers and Cubs are playing. God help me if they end up playing each other in the NLCS.
The Cubs have to hate winding up with the Dodgers – not much of a reward for the season they had.
The Brewers look to me like they might be the ‘happy to be here’ team that spent all their energy getting there only to bow out in the DS.
So you’re saying I shouldn’t put money down on Milwaukee? 🙂
Do you suppose if they lose the first round they’ll pull their shirts up over their heads?
Nah – a loss would mean they tuck them in tighter, right?
Touche!
ps-Go Sox!
Heh – one more game for the South Siders tomorrow.
