Another hit for Yadi!

Writing about the Cardinals and other loosely associated topics since 2008, I've grown tired of the April run-out only to disappoint Cardinal fans everywhere by mid-May. I do not believe in surrendering free outs.

I sat very close to where you took the photo from when I went to a game earlier this year… Unfortunately, I was about 20 seats to the left and all I could see was the foul pole. Somehow, it doesn’t matter how bad the seats are, though, there’s just something magical about actually being there. Too bad they couldn’t have pulled this one out!

Yeah the seats really weren’t too bad – we made our way down to the Casino Queen Party Porch for the rain delay though – beer for sale after the 7th inning! What a place!

Yadi’s offensive turn around from two years ago is mind-boggling. I humbly suggest we trade Brian Anderson now, while value is moderately high, before people figure out he is the next Ben Davis.

I’ve been a proponent of letting Anderson apprentice with Yadi for a season, but at this point, if you can get a starting pitcher for him this off-season that is cost-controlled for a couple of years – I think Mo would have to jump at that.
