Guess it's a good thing when middle relievers go under the radar, as that usually means they are doing an adequate job. Thompson is such a baby face looking kid, but he probably has the hottest temper on the team. Keeping that temper in check seems to be a key. One thing that really impresses me is how he doesn't mess around when on the mound. He seems to have bought in to the Duncan/LaRussa mentality of working quick. Hopefully he finishes out the season like his last 8 appearances! Thompson has quietly been getting the job done.
