Isringhausen, if it’s possible, probably looks like the best pitcher in the pen right now, aside from Springer, based on most recent performance.

I agree with you – surplus OF needs to turn into LHRP, at the very least. It’s not as if the right-handers are truly terrible – they seem to have been infected by the mental issues that are plaguing Flores right now.

The bullpen has completely lost its confidence, and that’s a bad thing.

PUKE accurately captures my take on our current bullpen situation and that particular article with the Izzy double-speak. I’m almost ready to just plug him in as closer again and hope Franklin rebounds to his normal 8th inning self.

Mo has GOT to turn some of our excess OF’ers…Stavinoha…Hearther…Robinson…Duncan…et al. into some MR’ers. I thought we were absolutely stocked with relievers in Memphis that would be successful here, but Perez is already up…they obviously weren’t enamored with Worrell…Motte self-destructed in AAA…Flores II is apparently not a LH’ed option. We need LH’ed arms and we need them now. I’m thinking putting Garcia into the our bullpen wouldn’t be too horrendous of an idea. I’m that desperate. Don’t know if my liver can take many more games like the last two.
